Refund Policy (Draft)

Draft, commercial terms not yet decided. This page describes how billing and cancellation work in the product today. It does not yet state a refund window, a money-back guarantee, or any other commercial commitment, because the company has not decided those terms. Do not rely on this page until it is reviewed and the placeholders below are filled in.

1. What you are paying for

Once billing is enabled, an institution's paid plan will be a subscription billed per billing period. It is designed to cover the institution's access to the paid features of the console and student app for that period; it will not be sold per user or per quiz.

2. How to cancel

Cancellation is designed to be self-service, from inside the console's plan settings. A cancellation is intended to take effect at the end of the current billing period: the institution will keep its paid plan and everything that comes with it until that period ends, and will not be charged again after cancelling.

3. What happens at the end of a paid period

If a subscription is not renewed, or is cancelled, the institution will move to the free plan once the paid period expires. Moving to the free plan is not designed to delete anything: classes, students, content, results and history are all intended to be retained. What changes is which features remain available under the free plan, not whether the institution's data continues to exist.

4. Refunds
